Due to life, work, and my second job, I’ve been super busy. Whenever I get a moment, I have been trying to do some HANSHOU related work, but it’s been much slower than I anticipated.
However, I’m not giving up and I’m even pushing forward with a project that I’ve had in mind for the past two years since I last posted. In fact, the project is going to be a draft written in Celtx with the intent to turn it into a full-blown graphic novel.
It’s also going to involve a certain world and cast of the first series I ever wrote – WACKY No Jinsei.
Speaking of WAKKIJIN, I plan to release the unfinished stories after some revisions just to get everybody familiar with that universe and its characters. Writing the new Celtx script has been challenging, to say the least, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it took a while, especially with my busy schedule.
Hopefully, I can develop some sort of fan following that will support my project. At this point in time, I will reveal the title for this ambitious project: UNIVA No Jinsei.
Okay, not much of a sudden change to the title, but everything you’ll know about WAKKIJIN will change. I’m calling it an alternate universe reboot.
Why did I decide to reboot instead of make a whole new IP? Because the characters I made are endearing and never got the popularity they deserved.
In addition, YUNIJIN (short for UNIVA No Jinsei) will be a reflection of all the influences I’ve collected over the years since the untimely end of my monogamous love for all things Japan (we’re in a casual relationship now). I’m also still writing RAINOBE, and while it may seem like I’m trying to add more complications to my free time, I’m actually doing all this for the enjoyment of writing.
Until next time, which I hope is more sooner than later!
